Team Secret won the first edition of SoStronk KOTH Asia after seeing off Puzzle by a 3-2 scoreline (11-16 on de_cache, 4-16 on de_inferno, 16-7 on de_mirage and 16-6 on de_dust2).
Four of Asia's strongest teams competed in the first edition of SoStronk KOTH Asia, a double-elimination tournament hosted by SoStronk, an Indian company that has developed its own matchmaking CS:GO platform.
Team Secret, featuring Cong "crazyguy" Anh Ngo, who had raised eyebrows when he played for Skyred at DreamHack Open Stockholm, were the first team to reach the grand final after moving past Puzzle and nxl in the Upper Bracket.
Zac & co win regional tournament
Puzzle, who boast the core of the former QeeYou roster, then came through the Lower Bracket with victories over MVP.karnal and nxl to advance to the title decider.
With a 1-0 advantage in the series, Secret saw the game slip through their fingers as Puzzle won the first two maps of to take the lead in the series. However, the Vietnamese side pulled back on the final two maps to secure a 3-2 victory and a $4,000 payout.
